These terms govern your purchase and use of the Tinkerer Club community and website at tinkerer.club. By completing checkout you agree to them.
1.Who we are
Tinkerer Club is operated by George Kitanov (“Kitze”), sole proprietor based in Skopje, North Macedonia. References to “we”, “us”, and “our” mean the operator. References to “you” mean the person who paid for a membership or signed up for the community.
2.What “lifetime access” actually means
Your one-time payment grants you ongoing access to:
- The private Tinkerer Club Discord server.
- Member-only resources currently published on tinkerer.club.
- Future content we ship to existing members at the same tier (subject to clause 3).
Lifetime access does not mean:
- A guarantee that any specific upcoming feature (e.g. Library, Platform, walkthroughs) will ship by a specific date — see /roadmap.
- A guarantee that the community, Discord, or any third-party tool we use will exist forever. If we have to wind anything down, we will give existing members at least 60 days’ notice via email and /changelog.
- A license to redistribute member-only content. Treat it as single-seat — links and PDFs are for you, not your team.
3.Pricing and tier changes
We may add new paid tiers, raise prices for new members, or move features between tiers in the future. Existing members keep the access they paid for at the price they paid. We will not retro-charge you for a tier you already own.
Recurring tiers (Patron / Supporter / Tinkerer Prime) renew at the published price. If we change that price, we will email you at least 30 days before the next renewal so you can cancel from the Polar customer portal before the new charge.
4.Code of conduct
The Tinkerer Club Discord exists for builders who want to help each other. To keep it that way:
- No spam, unsolicited DMs, or paid-promo dumps in public channels.
- No scraping, mass-exporting, or republishing member content.
- No harassment, hate speech, threats, or sexually explicit content.
- No sharing of your invite, login, or member resources with non-members.
- Respect the channel topic. Off-topic gets nudged to the right place.
If you violate these rules we may, at our discretion, warn you, remove the offending content, restrict your access, or revoke your membership without a refund. We document moderation actions privately and will respond to good-faith appeals at [email protected].
5.Refunds and cancellations
Refunds and cancellations are governed by our separate refund & cancellation policy. The short version: lifetime memberships are non-refundable because access is delivered immediately; recurring tiers can be cancelled at any time from the Polar customer portal.
6.Privacy
We process your data per our privacy policy. Read it.
7.Third-party services
Tinkerer Club depends on third parties (Polar for payments, Discord for community, Vercel for hosting, PostHog for analytics, an email provider for lifecycle email, and any partner-discount providers listed on /success). Their availability is outside our control. If a critical dependency fails for a sustained period we will communicate via /changelog and email.
8.Limitation of liability
The product is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from your membership is limited to the amount you actually paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, lost profits, or data loss caused by third-party services.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable consumer-protection law (for example, willful misconduct or death/personal injury caused by negligence).
9.Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of North Macedonia. The competent courts of Skopje have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to any non-waivable consumer rights you have under the law of your country of residence.
10.Changes
If we materially change these terms we will email registered members and post the change at /changelog. Continued use after the change date constitutes acceptance.
11.Contact
Anything in these terms unclear? Email [email protected]. We’d rather answer the question now than fight about it later.
