This page is the canonical refund and cancellation policy for tinkerer.club. It applies to every purchase made through our checkout (Polar) and is referenced from your receipt email.
1.Lifetime membership ($299 / $399 — one-time)
Access to the private Discord and member resources is delivered immediately after payment. Because access is digital and instant, we do not offer refunds on the one-time lifetime membership.
Please read the pricing page and the FAQ in full before paying. If something on those pages is unclear, email [email protected] before checkout and we will answer first.
Access recovery: if your invite did not arrive, your Discord access is broken, or your welcome email never landed, email [email protected] within 7 days of purchase and we will fix it. Access recovery is not refundable but is always free.
2.Continuous support tiers (monthly)
The Patron ($9 / mo), Supporter ($29 / mo), and Tinkerer Prime ($49 / mo) tiers from /support-the-club are recurring subscriptions billed by Polar.
- You can cancel any time from the Polar customer portal linked in your receipt email. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- We do not pro-rate partial months. Your access continues until the period you already paid for ends.
- Already paid for the current month and want it stopped immediately? Email [email protected] and we will refund the latest charge as a goodwill gesture (one-time, per customer).
3.Failed payments and dunning
If a recurring charge fails, Polar will retry the payment a few times and email you. If the payment still fails, your subscription tier is paused and you lose access to tier-only resources. Your account is not deleted; updating your payment method restores access.
4.Chargebacks
If you open a chargeback before contacting us we will lose the ability to help you, and your access will be revoked. Please email [email protected] first — we reply within 1 business day and we have never refused a fair refund request on the recurring tiers.
5.EU / UK statutory rights
EU and UK consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal for digital services. By paying for the lifetime membership and accessing the Discord you expressly request immediate performance and acknowledge that the right of withdrawal lapses on first access (per Article 16(m) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive). This clause does not limit any non-waivable consumer rights you have under your local law.
